REACH for the Least, the Lost, and the Lonely

The family may be the smallest unit of the society but just like a cell in a body organ, it is critical to the development of the entire community. That’s why REACH Community Service is here. It aims to serve and reach out to families and everyone else at the point of their need to build a stronger nation.

When It Started

REACH started in 1998 through Pastor Calvin Lee and the Grace Assembly of God. It was envisioned to embody the Parable of the Good Samaritan. True enough, since February 1999 when the REACH Family Service Center was officially opened in Bishan St. 13, the organization has helped countless families, youths, senior citizens, and individuals in need. Its network significantly grew, now operating through six touchpoints: Bishan, Sin Ming, Shunfu Road, Bukit Batok, Jalan Membina, and Bukit Gombak Vista.

REACH is continuously making a mark, with around 3,774 lives being changed annually under four programs:

  • Family Service – share love and inspire hope, especially among underprivileged, low-income, and vulnerable families.
  • Counselling Service – provide counselling services to individuals, couples, and families with an aim to build enduring marriages and resilient families.
  • Youth Service – engage the youth through development and outreach programs, believing in their potential to achieve great things not just for themselves but for the community.
  • Senior Service – engage the elderly to lead fulfilling lives, through programs that address their physical and emotional needs.
